A Message From The Headteacher About Our Exciting New Food Offer...
From Monday 2nd November we have some exciting changes for our Food Offer at the school: we have adopted a change for students to offer more choice, variety and included selecting at the counter options. We will continue to maintain social distancing, and bubbles for all year groups and ensure safety is at the forefront.
We previously opted for a pre-order service only which meant that the food offer was limited and unfortunately, we faced issues with the app. This has now been addressed and all issues resolved. Working with our catering partners, Chartwells, we will be re-launching our catering after half term, and introducing some ‘normality’ in a safe way. Students will be able to purchase food from the counters without pre-ordering, in addition to the current ordering via the app. Students will be able to purchase at the till point without the need to use their ‘finger print’. The catering team will instead, take the students name at the till point which will access their accounts (student photos are used to support identity). Normally we would ask students to top up their accounts using the re-loaders. Unfortunately, this can’t be done due to the location of the machines and removing ‘touch points’, so we would ask that all payments are processed online via the wise pay website or app. In the case of individual difficulties students should highlight their problem to the pastoral support staff or their form tutor for resolution. The food offer from half term will be much wider to offer additional choices each day – Mid-Morning Break: Available with a selection of:
